I’ve been investing since 2018. Here’s how I actually evaluate a stock.
I started investing in 2018, doing my own research because I didn’t want to just repeat what other people were saying about a stock. Over time that turned into a full process — a system I built myself in Excel to break down companies the same way, every time — and eventually into MoneyJourney, where I share that research publicly.
I’m not a financial advisor, and I don’t claim to predict the market. What I do is show my full reasoning — the numbers, the assumptions, the risks — so you can evaluate it yourself and build the same skill, instead of just taking a stock pick on faith.
Business fundamentals
What the company actually does, how it makes money, and whether that’s durable
Valuation
Is the current price justified by the numbers, using the same models every time, not whichever one supports the conclusion
Risk
What would have to go wrong for this thesis to fail, stated plainly, not buried at the end
I’d rather be right about the process and wrong about a specific stock than the other way around. Markets are uncertain — anyone promising certainty is selling something. What I can offer is a consistent, transparent way of thinking about a company, which is worth more long-term than any single pick.
