Legal & Investment Disclaimer
Last Updated: October 10, 2026Please read this carefully. MoneyJourney publishes educational research. It is not financial advice, and investing involves a real risk of losing money.
1. Educational Purpose Only
Everything on this website, in our newsletter, videos, spreadsheets and members-only areas is published for education and general information. It is not personal investment advice, a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, or an offer or request to trade. We do not know your goals, finances or risk tolerance, so nothing here is tailored to you. MoneyJourney is not a registered financial advisor.
2. Signals, Scores and Fair Values
- Signals (Strong Buy, Good Buy, Buy, Hold, Sell) are simply labels for the output of our own analysis model. They show where a company sits in our model, based on the quality score and the margin of safety. They are not personal recommendations or instructions to trade.
- Fair values, margins of safety, Quality Scores, MJ Scores and expected returns are estimates. They depend on assumptions about the future, such as growth, margins and discount rates, which can turn out to be wrong. Small changes in the assumptions can change the result a lot.
- Analysis date: a fair value reflects the date of the analysis. Prices and signals shown on the watchlist can move after that date, and a company’s situation can change. Check the date before relying on any figure.
3. Investment Risk
All investments carry risk, including the loss of the money you invest. Past performance, including any historical return or result shown on this website, does not guarantee future results. Prices can fall as well as rise, and a company that looks cheap or high-quality in our model can still lose value. Only invest money you can afford to lose, and diversify.
4. Data and Accuracy
We use financial data from third-party sources and our own calculations. Data can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and prices on the watchlist may not be real time. We try to be accurate but do not guarantee that any information is correct, complete or current, and we may correct it without notice.
5. Independence and Conflicts of Interest
- We do not accept payment from companies to cover them or to change our view of them.
- The author may own, or may buy or sell, securities that are discussed on this website, before or after a publication. Where relevant, we try to say so in the article.
- If we ever have a sponsor, affiliate link or other relationship that could influence our content, we will say so clearly.
6. Portfolio Information
Where we show our own portfolio, positions, buys and sells, it is shared for transparency and education. It is a personal portfolio, not a model portfolio, and it does not suit everyone. Information may be published with a delay and may not show current holdings. Do not copy our trades without making your own decision. Our results are not a promise of yours.
7. Your Responsibility
You alone are responsible for your investment decisions. Do your own research, and speak to a licensed financial, tax or legal professional before investing. Local laws differ, and our content may not be suitable or available in every country. It is not directed at anyone in a place where its publication or use would be against the law.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, MoneyJourney and its author are not liable for any loss or damage, including investment losses, resulting from the use of, or reliance on, this website or its content. Nothing in this disclaimer limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.
9. Third-Party Content and Links
Our website may link to or embed content from others, such as YouTube videos. We do not control and are not responsible for that content or for any opinion expressed in it.
